The Sandwich Sisters is an organization providing soup and sandwiches for the Good Shepherd Shelter in Toronto on Queen St. East. They started at the beginning of the pandemic realizing how disproportionally people would be affected. With over 280 volunteers, they hope to deliver 100,000 sandwiches by December 2020.

The People's Pantry is a community aid project in Toronto, delivering free groceries and warm meals to those who have been affected by the pandemic. Local volunteers cook delicious fresh meals, assemble and deliver grocery packages, and deliver food. This volunteer run organization has grown from less than ten people to over a hundred volunteers helping out their community during the COVID-19 pandemic.
